Edmonton Oilers fans have a message for Auston Matthews

Last season Auston Matthews won the Hart Trophy last season as the league's most valuable player. Despite leading the league in scoring Connor McDavid finished second in voting. Oilers fans have not forgotten about this.
During the Gold Medal game of thr 2022 World Junior Hockey Championships in Edmonton, a Leafs fan was in attendance. That fan opted to wear his Auston Matthews jersey.
The fans in Rogers Place immediately let him know that they felt McDavid was better by chanting "Matthews Sucks."
Both McDavid and Matthews are generational players that any team would love to have but it's just fun seeing that rivalry even when the Leafs and Oilers weren't even playing.
