Edmonton Oilers reach agreement on new contract with another forward
The Edmonton Oilers are expected to contend for a Stanley Cup this season. After falling to the eventual Cup Champions last season, the Oilers have their sights set on bringing home hockey's ultimate prize. To do that the Oilers will need to find a way to be competitive from the top of their lineup to the bottom.
Tonight the Oilers managed to lockdown one of their key restricted free agents. According to multiple sources the Oilers have locked down Ryan McLeod to a 2-year deal.
Per Ryan Rishaug, the Oilers and Ryan McLeod have settled on a contract.
Expect two years at just above $2M
Last season in 57 games McLeod scored 11 goals and added 12 assists. The 23-year-old is entering his 4th NHL season.
