Florida Panthers finally receive good news after serious injury sidelines former 30 goal scorer
The Florida Panthers acquired Anthony Duclair in December of 2020, by Bill Zito once again exploiting his Columbus Blue Jackets connection to bring another talented player to Sunrise. However, after last season, he suffered a torn Achilles injury and has been out since June.
You could argue that Anthony Duclair's return will have a stabilizing effect on the offense, as the 58-point player is sorely missed.
According to new Head Coach Paul Maurice, Duclair is slowly but surely on his way back to the team, which is welcome news.
However, Duclair is 6 months out of practice, he has since returned to skating, which means according to Maurice he is no longer month to month, but week to week. In the meantime, before he returns to play, he will have to train to get back into playing shape.
The Winger represented the Ottawa Senators in the 2020 All-Star Game and it's criminal he didn't get to attend last year as the 2021-2022 season was one of the best in his career. His skill and shot on the ice, are needed again as the Maurice-era needs all the help they can get.
