Former 1st round pick heads to Europe to continue hockey career
Free Agent forward Tyler Ennis has signed a contract with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the KHL.
Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres, 26th overall in 2008. Ennis played 57 games in 2021-2022 with the Senators, scoring 8 goals and 24 points in 57 games.
The 13 year, veteran has played 700 games in the NHL scoring 144 goals and 346 points. Ennis has suited up for the Sabres, Wild, Maple Leafs, Senators and Edmonton Oilers.
Ennis has been a steady 20-40 point producer during his NHL career. Being under sized, (5'9) he was able to forge a pro career because of his skating ability, hockey sense and offensive instincts.
