Former Team Sweden Hockey team member facing multiple disgusting charges
In May 2021 a former member of the Swedish Olympic Team was arrested on allegations of assault, s*xual misconduct and other crimes. That arrest was followed up by a thorough investigation, which has now ultimately led to multiple charges being filed. The following information has been brought forth from a Swedish news outlet.
The former elite hockey player, with credentials from playing in Tre Kronor, was arrested in May 2021 on suspicion of assault, attempted r*pe and r*pe.
Two years later, charges are now being brought against the former player on all three points.
According to the indictment, the man allegedly grabbed a woman's neck, hit her with a clenched fist and r*ped her.
All crimes must have been committed on the same day. The man in question has previously been charged with unlawful threats and s*xual harassment, but that time the investigation was dropped.
The prosecution has shared they feel they have an extremely strong case including SMS texts that prove a crime was committed. Their case also includes multiple eye witnesses. The case will be heard in court this fall.
Hopefully justice is served in this case.
