The National Hockey League's 2023-24 season gets underway in exactly one week and Tuesday was a busy day in terms of the waiver wire as teams continue to prepare their rosters for opening night.

According to TSN's Chris Johnston, a total of 13 players were placed on waivers today including Ottawa Senators defensive prospect Jacob Bernard-Docker. Let's take a look at all players on Tuesday's wire:

Alec Regula (BOS)
Daniel Renouf (BOS)
Anthony Richard (BOS)
Reilly Walsh (BOS)
Parker Wotherspoon (BOS)
Seth Griffith (EDM)
Erik Kallgren (NJ)
Jacob Bernard-Docker (OTT)
Matthew Highmore (OTT)
Jacob Larsson (OTT)
Egor Sokolov (OTT)
Tanner Laczynski (PHI)
Cal Petersen (PHI)

As is always the case from the opening of the waiver wire until the end of October, the order of teams that can place a claim is based off of last season's standings in reverse. The Anaheim Ducks get the first crack at placing a claim on any of the players above, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.

If any of the players above go unclaimed on Wednesday afternoon, they'll be assigned to their respective teams American Hockey League affiliate.
