Unfortunate there's some more heartbreaking news to report in the hockey world, a former teammate of Washington Capitals forward Tj Oshie has passed away, Oshie announced on Twitter.
Michael Tveiter was a high school teammate of Oshie's at Warroad Boys Highschool Hockey and where Tveiter won a national championship 20 years ago
Absolutely heartbroken to learn that my good friend and high school teammate unexpectedly died yesterday while taking a nap from a migraine. Any donation to his wife and kids pictured below can help them navigate life without Michael moving forward. Love you Tveiter!! Donate here
Tveiter Is survived by his wife Darnell and their 3 boys. From everyone at Gloves Off Hockey and Blade of Steel we wish nothing but the best for the Tveiter family as they navigate through this difficult time.
Oshie has set up a go fund me in order to help the family out, that can be found here: Tveiter Family Go Fund Me
