Earlier this off-season, Patrick Kane and his agent provided a timeline for when Kane would return. Initially it was thought that he would sign with a team at the end of December or early January on a prorated deal, but as it turn out, that might not be the case.
According to sports writer John Wawrow, Kane might be ready sooner rather than later as he's feeling almost ready to return; take a look.
I think we're at the point now where, I mean, could I come back early? Yeah, probably,» Kane said" #NYR #NHL
Kane skating already post surgery is a great thing and the fact that he's given an indication that he might be ready to sign with a team sooner than later.
Kane has had hip issues for some time and had surgery earlier this off-season, but a return to form could spell trouble for the rest of the National Hockey League.
The only thing I worry about is Kane coming back too soon and re-aggravating his injury, but if he's medically cleared to go, let him go.
