The Columbus Blue Jackets have had a rough season, being among the worse teams in the National Hockey league and if that wasn't bad enough nearly oo one wants to play in Columbus.
According to Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli, no player wants to play for the Blue Jackets in their current state, especially with the organization's management and head coach; take a look.
Full quote from Seravalli:
«It's not that people don't want to play in Columbus, it's that players don't want to play in Columbus with this management group and with this coaching staff». #CBJ
That's quite the statement from Seravalli there, even from an outside perspective, fans and media alike already knew not many players want to be in Columbus, but to say it outright is certainly something.
Between that and one of the Jackets top prospects defender David Jirichek voicing his displeasure with the team.
I see guys from the same draft, like Nemec and Korchinski they get a chance on the power play ... I can compare with them. I just want a chance to play like that.
One thing is abundantly clear, both on and off the ice, the Columbus Blue Jackets are in trouble. It's hard to believe that General Manager Jarmo Kekäläinen will survive this season, especially after the Mike Babcock debacle.
