Carter Hart was revealed to be one of the five people involved in the Hockey Canada incident. However, before that happened, teams were looking into a possible trade with Hart, and he was even mentioned to be a possible trade piece at this year's deadline.

Well, a report came out that Philadelphia was actually trying to offload Carter Hart over the summer, but as teams found out about the incident, they backed away to avoid further complications.

The report also states that all four NHL teams involved were going to suspend the five players, but their agents told the NHL that they were going to sue them if they suspend them, possibly to buy them some time.

Carter Hart is only 25 years old and his career is likely over because of this. This season, Carter tallied a 2.80 GAA and a .906 SV%. He was seen as a possible rare commodity by other teams this year for a possible trade, but now, he's turning himself in to the London police.

It seems as if the NHL had known about that allegations for some time, it doesn't paint a great picture of the Flyers organization that they'd been trying to get out from under this for some time.
