Jacob Trouba runs over Tyler Toffoli with a huge hit from behind
Jacob Trouba is without question the biggest hitter in the NHL. Players keep their head on a swivel whenever he's on the ice. While usually Trouba's hits are clean, tonight he threw a questionable hit in the first period.
As Toffoli crosses the blueline he appears to bobble the puck and turns his back to Trouba. Like is usually the case Trouba follows through with his hit and plasters Toffoli into the board.
On the play Trouba was not awarded a penalty and the Devils were furious. The question remains, is this a penalty or did Toffoli just put himself in a bad spot?
