Jesse Puljujarvi pulls off incredible costume to win Halloween 2023
Unrestricted free agent forward Jesse Puljujarvi is working his way back to game action after undergoing double hip surgery during the off-season. It's unclear when he'll return, but the expectation is that he'll be able to go at some point this season, potentially as early as late-November or early-December.
While Puljujarvi is focused on getting ready for a return to the ice, in his spare time he's been busy coming up with one of the best Halloween costumes we've seen in quite a while.
In a post on his Instagram story, Puljujarvi revealed his costume for Halloween 2023, dressing up as rapper Ice Spice from her appearance on Saturday Night Live earlier this month, while his friend dressed up as Pete Davidson. When it comes Halloween costumes, Puljujarvi may have the best one this year among NHL players
It's been a tough road for Puljujarvi since entering the NHL in 2016 as he's never really lived up to the hype and expectation of being a fourth overall pick. After parts of six seasons with Edmonton, the Oilers traded him to the Carolina Hurricanes where Puljujarvi was hoping a fresh start would be what he needs to succeed, but unfortunately he found himself in the press box some nights, including in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Once he's ready to go this season, there won't be a shortage of teams lining up to sign the 25-year-old, who's motivated to prove to everyone that he belongs in the National Hockey League.
