Jonah Gadjovich TKOs Dennis Gilbert with a huge right hand
With the San Jose Sharks trailing 2-1, Jonah Gadjovich tried to spark his team by dropping the gloves with Dennis Gilbert. The fight went down in the second half of the 2nd period and the two players were absolute willing combatants. Both players landed some major shots and it seemed like only a matter of time before one of them fell.
Unfortunately for Gilbert after losing his helmet, Gadjovich landed a series of right hands. The last right hand cut Gilbert flush and sent him crashing to the ice. On the ice Gilbert could be seen clutching his face in pain.
Both players received 5 minute majors for fighting, but Gilbert clearly got the worse of the exchange. After the fight Gilbert would leave the game and not return.
