Two AHL players bite down on their mouthguards and throw hands for one of the best scraps of the year
While the number of fighting majors is down significantly in the NHL, that hasn't stopped players at other levels from dropping the gloves. Tyrel Bauer is quickly endearing himself as one of the toughest young players in the AHL. Bauer, 20, was drafted by the Jets in the 6th round in the 2020 draft.
Earlier this week the 6'3 Bauer dropped the mitts with 6'8 Adam Klapka. The two players showed little regard for defense as the two put their heads down and chucked them.
This is a difficult fight to judge, but who do you give the decision to?
