Junior hockey player two hand slashes another player in the head injuring him badly (Video)
Sometimes things happen on the ice that leave us shaking our heads. This is definitely one of those things. During a junior hockey game in Russia tempers flared and a bad decision has left a teenager with serious injuries.
After a collision on the ice Arseni Borisenko turns around towards Ivan Suvorov. After taking two steps Borisenko lifts his stick and violently two hand chops Surovov in the back of the head.
Surovov falls to the ice in significant pain and was unable to get off the ice under his own power. Borisenko was ejected from the game while Surovov was evaluated by medical personnel.
In any other country in the world this would be a guaranteed expulsion from the league but there is no guarantee.
