Linesman gets destroyed by a member of the ice crew
This is one of those things you definitely don't see often, in fact I can't remember ever seeing something like this happen. During a stoppage in play during tonight's Bruins and Hurricanes game a member of the ice crew and an on ice official collided. Unfortunately for the official it appears he got the worst of the exchange.
The linesman ultimately stayed in the game and appears to be no worse for the wear. But this is definitely something he's going to get grief for this from his other officials.
The Bruins and Hurricanes are currently ties at 1 after the 1st period. The Hurricanes currently lead the series 2-0.
