It's only October 30th but Chicago Blackhawks forward Andreas Athanasiou may have just scored the best goal you'll see all year long. Athanasiou picks up the puck around center ice and carries it over the Minnesota Wild line.
AA quickly makes two moves on the defender before shifting to his backhand before absolutely roofing the puck on Marc-Andre Fleury.
After the goal Fleury takes a skate knowing there was absolutely nothing he could do on the play. It may only be October, but it's going to take something absolutely unbelievable to beat this goal.
