Massive hit during KHL pre-season game sees player dumped into opposing bench
The KHL pre-season is winding down, with the regular season right around the corner as the first game is set for Friday, September 1st between CSKA Moscow and Dinamo Minsk.
During Sunday's contest between HC Vityaz and Dinamo Moscow, a massive hit left a player dumped into the opposing team's bench.
As the puck was rimmed around the boards in Moscow's zone, forward Ivan Muranov laid a HUGE hit on HC Vityaz defenceman Yaroslav Busygin, who flipped into Dinamo Moscow's bench late in the first period.
Thankfully, Yaroslav Busygin was okay, as he got up and went back into the play right away.
Dinamo Moscow would go on to win the game by a score of 5-2, which appeared to be the final pre-season contest for both teams. HC Vityaz will open their season on September 2nd against Amur Khabarovsk, while Dinamo Moscow will face Matvei Michkov and SKA St. Petersburg on the same day.
