Nazem Kadri claps back at Toronto area media after they bring him up during Michael Bunting conversation
When it comes to playoff hockey, you have to learn to keep your composure, something the Toronto Maple Leafs still have not learned after Michael Bunting was suspended after game one against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
It didn't take long for the comparisons between Bunting and Nazem Kadri circa 2019 to start from a local area TSN radio show, and Kadri isn't having any of it; take a look;
Y'all gotta leave me outta this one 😂 common man !
Kadri was suspended for 5 games in the 2018 playoffs and Buntings 3 game suspension is the longest since then. Evidently, Kadri wants to continue to distance himself from his last act as a Leaf player.
However, when Toronto continues to attract the edge players that have difficulty knowing where the line is, that's what happens. Whether you agree with the suspension or not, I think we can all agree that the 3-game suspension is on the long side.
