New York Rangers owner is furious and it could cost people their jobs
The New York Rangers had an amazing 1st year under Gerard Gallant, ending the 2021-2022 season in the 2nd round and with a 54-24-6 record, 2nd in the Metropolitan Division.
The wheels on the bus may be falling off now, as the team is a shadow of the Rangers who gave the Tampa Bay Lightning a run for the money in the 2nd round.
The situation is so bad, that according to Emily Kaplan, ownership is stepping in.
If James Dolan is stepping in, what does it mean for Chris Drury and Gerard Gallant? Did Gallant lose the room so soon, that the Rangers are an abysmal 11-10-5, and barely above .500%?
The team also recently traded Ryan Reaves, a player Dolan has insisted they trade for after Tom Wilson manhandled Artemi Panarin two seasons ago.
