Patrick Kane is the best player still on the free agent market, bar none. With teams lining up to sign the veteran coming off of hip surgery on a pro-rated deal there's at least one team he will not go to.
According to Mario Tirabassi of CHGO Sports, and Emily Kaplan of ESPN much to the dismay of Chicago Blackhawks, Kane will absolutely not be returning when he decides to sign a contract this year; take a look.
Kane, 34, played in 73 games split between the aforementioned Blackhawks and New York Rangers last season, scoring 21 goals and adding 36 assists for a total of 57 points.
While this may not be the news Blackhawks fans wanted to hear, Kane may be close to a return and if that's the case at almost 35 years old, it's no surprise he wants to take one more run at the Stanley Cup
