PK Subban linked to Atlantic Division team with family ties
According to Chad DeDominicis, the Buffalo Sabres are targeting P.K. Subban for their Blueline woes.
The first question is how much will Kevyn Adams give up for the veteran? Will, he is looking primarily for assets, given that he is longer the Norris Trophy caliber defenseman he was, the New Jersey Devils may have to retain part of his salary in order to move him.
His $9 million dollar AAV is a tough sell for a smaller market club, but Buffalo can make it work if New Jersey does Adams this favor.
Subban would be a great addition as a veteran presence for rookies to mentor, I've seen it mentioned that Boston or Toronto would be a good landing spot, given how badly Don Sweeney is drafted it would make sense.
It sounds like, the Sabres will need help shoring up the bottom pairing, and putting Subban with a rookie would be ideal to move the needle.
