It has certainly been a less than memorable tenure for Sergei Bobrovsky in a Florida Panthers uniform. After signing a 7-year 70 million dollar contract with the Panthers on July 1st 2019 his numbers have been less than flattering.

After a few down years with the Panthers, it appears as if they are gearing up to move on from the Russian net-minder, one has to wonder though, who's going to take on a 33 year old with a 10 million dollar cap hit and term left on his deal? For now, no one seems to be biting, but Florida is testing the waters to see if there's a market for the former Vezina Trophy winner.

Bobrovsky did bounce back a little bit this year posting a 39-7-3 record with 3 shutouts and a .913 save percentage, but I would still think Florida will have a rough time trying to move that contract. Rumours have persisted since the end of the season that the Panthers, who are in an awful cap situation continue to look to move Bobrovsky for potential cap relief.
