Patrick Kane's next team potentially leaked
Patrick Kane is by far the most intriguing name still on the free agent list, in fact, all summer we've been hearing different things. With Kane's return timeline most likely moved up, it also appears his next team might've just been leaked.
According to John Dietz of the Daily Herald, Patrick Kane could be on his way to the Detroit Red Wings per a source close to Kane in what appears to be a sharp turn from everything we've heard so far; take a look.
Watch for Patrick Kane to sign with the Detroit Red Wings. Someone who knows Kane very well said Kane told him he wanted to follow Alex DeBrincat if/when he was able. Of course there has to be mutual interest, so we'll see if Detroit extends an olive branch ...
Honestly, part of this is a surprise that the Wings are one of the teams rumoured, but, DeBrincat and Kane were dynamic together In Chicago when they both played there so Kane wanting to reunite does make sense.
Of course, as Dietz mentions above, there would have to be mutual interest between the two parties, if Kane is at all Interested in signing with the Wings as is suggested, they would be out of their mind not to make a deal work.
