With everything going on in the hockey world these days, sometimes everyone needs a reminder why hockey players are great to. A member of the Toronto Maple Leafs is barely recognizable on the ice today for one of the best reasons you'll see all season.
According to David Alter of The Hockey News and Sports Illustrated, Leaf forward Tyler Bertuzzi got a hair cut and wasn't easily recognizable; take a look.
Tyler Bertuzzi donated his hair to kids with cancer: «A lady in Michigan does it for me so it was kind of the perfect time and donated again to kids with cancer.»
Bertuzzi, who used to easily recognizable with his long hair recently chopped it all off and donated it to children with cancer during the Allstar break.
This is why hockey players are amazing, for the gestures in the community. Not only did Bertuzzi get a haircut for the first time in what has to be years, donating it to children with cancer shows just how selfless hockey players can be.
