Report - Vladimir Tarasenko has agreed to sign a new contract with a Canadian team
Vladimir Tarasenko is easily one of the best remaining free agents on the market. After early reports of strong interest in the talented winger it appeared his market dried up. After firing his agent Tarasenko found new representation, but has still yet to officially find a deal.
According to one source though, that is about to change. Twitter user EthanGSN of Gotham Sports Network, who primarily covers New York based sports teams took to Twitter to share the following:
SOURCE: I'm hearing the Ottawa Senators and Vladimir Tarasenko have come to terms on an agreement.
Please credit me and the current formerly defunct @ov_pod.
Tarasenko has been connected to the Senators even before they dealt Alex DeBrincat so there certainly is a familiarity. However, at this time there has been no confirmation by either the Senators or Tarasenko on a potential deal. Only time will tell if Ethan has the correct scoop on this possible deal.
