The National Hockey League's trade deadline has come and gone after wrapping up a 3pm today, while there was a lot of movement, some players are frustrated they didn't get a chance to go to contending teams.

One of those players is Sam Jose Sharks goaltender, James Reimer according to Corey Masisak of The Athletic. Take a look:

James Reimer admitted he had hoped to get a chance to chase the Stanley Cup like Nick Bonino. He said it was unfortunate that nothing came to fruition. Talked to his agent a few times in recent weeks, but said it sounded like nothing was ever imminent.

Reimer, 34, has had less than an ideal season in San Jose this year playing in 31 games compiling a record of 9-16-6 behind a Sharks team that hasn't been able to get out of the basement, while holding a save percentage of .892 and a goals against average of 3.35 it's not really surprising the Sharks we're unable to move him.

That being said, the frustration for Reimer at this point in his career is somewhat warranted having been on pretty bad teams throughout his career. Plus, after seeing teammate Nick Bonino get traded to the Pens, it must not feel too good to miss out on the playoffs yet again.
