Surprising team interested in 2 of the top free agents still available
With only 2 weeks left in July, most of the big name players have been taken off the free agent board, but there's still some intriguing names left on the list. This western conference team appears to be targeting 2 big names.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet , the San Jose Sharks are interested in both Vladimir Tarasenko and Matt Dumba.
According to

, SJ has interest in Vladimir Tarasenko and Matt Dumba. Please be true.
Taresenko, 31, is still a viable offensive threat appearing in 69 games last season between the St Louis Blues and the New York Rangers he scored 18 goals and added 32 assists for a total of 50 points.
Dumba, 28, has spent his entire career with the Minnesota Wild. Last season he played in 79 games, collecting a total of 14 points including 4 goals and 10 assists.
Both players could help San Jose, but the question would be, if they were to sign there, how much term and dollar value would the Sharks have to give them.
Anything can happen in free agency, but this is certainly something to keep an eye on as free agency moves forward.
