Things get heated between the Bruins and Panthers, Bruins player injured during the scrum
The Boston Bruins have implemented a take no prisoners approach to this season. It is because of that that they are the best team in the NHL by far. Tonight in a game versus the Florida Panthers, the Bruins carried over that attitude.
In the first period, the teams became involved in a scrum that unfortunately left one of the Bruins injured and unable to finish the game.
On the play Trent Frederic falls awkwardly and lands on the ice with a Panthers player on top of him. He would be slow to get up and would head to the bench. He would attempt to take one more shift but would leave the game and during the second period the Bruins would make the inevitable announcement that he would not return.
The Bruins battled injury early on this season and overcame it, they will hopefully be able to do the same if this injury is serious.
