Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot may find himself in some hot water with the NHL's Department of Player Safety for a dirty hit on a Coyotes player in Monday's lone game between Ottawa and Arizona.
Chabot was charged with a kneeing penalty against Clayton Keller with 8:31 remaining in the 1st period after this nasty knee-on-knee collision.
Chabot, has had multiple suspensions in his Major Junior hockey career, during his time with the Saint John Sea Dogs. He's had previous incidents involving a dangerous slewfoot, and being suspended on two separate occasions for head checking infractions.
It will be interesting to see how the league rules on this one.
