Tkachuk Shares Which Team He's Excited To Watch
The NHL is returning soon and the stars were out in Las Vegas last week for the NHL Player Media Tour. ESPN's Kristen Shilton and Greg Wyshynski got the opportunity to check up on some of the NHL's biggest stars.
Tenacious agitator turned superstar Matthew Tkachuk has never been shy to share his opinion when a microphone is placed in his face.
Tkachuk was asked what team or player are you most excited to watch this season?
His response:
" I'm excited to see what Boston does after their season last year, how they follow that one up."
There are multiple ways a fan could take that quote. Is he referring to the choke job from the President's Trophy Boston Bruins who blew a 3-1 lead in their series to ultimately lose in Game 7 to the Panthers.
Maybe he is referring to the dismantling of the roster that saw captain Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci call time on their respected NHL careers.
Bruins fans will have the opportunity to respond to Tkachuk's statement when the two teams meet at the TD Garden in Boston on October 30th.
