The stretch drive to end the National Hockey League regular season is on and as such, games get more and more intense and physical. It seldom matters if the two team are outside the playoff picture.
The Washington Capitals are facing off against the Anaheim Ducks and it didn't take too long for the two teams to get their emotions to a boiling point, take a look:
Halfway through the second period, Tom Wilson and Simon Benoit drop the gloves in whats categorizes as a heavyweight tilt. After being pretty even to start, Wilson gets the takedown and lands some good shots.
This is Wilson's first fight since his return from injury after having his knee surgically repaired. If this is any indication, Wilson is back to his pre injured self. Something the Capitals were sorely missing.
