It was just a couple days ago that Jared Bednar described Nate MacKinnon's injury as concerning. But it turns out that might not be the case, as today there was good news for the Colorado Avalanche fans. It was announced that Nathan MacKinnon will make his return tonight as the Avalanche host the San Jose Sharks tonight at 9pm.
Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar shared the good news today after fans around the world were worried that MacKinnon could have suffered a seriously injured hand during a fight with Minnesota Wild's defenceman Matt Dumba.
The Avalanche would probably prefer that MacKinnon not fight, especially being the team's best player but that's the type of leader MacKinnon is. The 26-year-old has 22 goals and 40 assists in 51 games this season.
