Vasilevskiy Gets Loud Interruption During Post Game Scrum That No One Could Ignore
Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy missed the first couple months of the season because he underwent back surgery. Ever since the Vezina trophy winning goalie returned, his play has been below his usual form. Going into the game on Monday Vasilevskiy has given up more than 3 goals in three out of his four starts.
The 29 year old turned in his best game of the season, making 25 saves and collecting his first shutout of the season in a 4-0 victory.
During the post game scrum Vasilevskiy was in the middle of answering how his mindset was following the 8-1 beating by Dallas only 48 hours ago.
Vasilevskiy was interrupted by a reporter letting out a loud ripper. It happened perfectly as their was a pause between Vasilevskiy's sentences, so everyone heard it.
Vasilevskiy did his best to hold in his laughter, but burst out laughing as did many of the other reporters and had to ask another reporter to repeat the question.
The guilty reporter is walking away from this one pretty embarrassed but after some time might be able to appreciate the comic relief they provided.
