Wayne Gretzky shares the details of the incredible pregame that made him The Great One
In today's National Hockey League, healthy living and proper nutrition is paramount, even most pregame meals these days, but it wasn't always that way, in fact, this incredible pregame meal was the proper fuel for the greatest player of all time.
Recently, Wayne Gretzky revealed the meal he ate before every game he played in the NHL and it's amazing how much times have changed since his time in the league; take a look.
The Great One used to have 4 hot dogs with onions, pizza, cake and two diet cokes before every game he played in the NHL. Sometimes, he would eat chocolate bars between periods as well for a little pick me up.
Not only is this an amazing pregame meal, it illustrates how much the game has changed throughout the times since he played.
If I ate this as a pregame meal I wouldn't be able to move, let only play a full game of hockey at the highest level and be the most productive player of all-time.
