Just a day after not being qualified by the Philadelphia Flyers, goaltender Carter Hart has signed a new contract to continue his hockey career.

Carter Hart was once a top prospect for the Philadelphia Flyers, but after yesterday, he's no longer in the NHL after not being qualified by the Philadelphia Flyers after being part of the 2018 Canadian World Junior team scandal.

Now it appears that he's found a place to continue his hockey career overseas as he's being linked and will be signing with Dimano Minsk according to Hockey News Hub on X

After the Dubé signing, Metaratings reports 🇨🇦 Carter Hart may continue his career with Dinamo Minsk #KHL

2nd time his name has come up now. First time with Ak Bars.

Hart, 25, played in 26 games with the Flyers last season before being moved to a non rostered player because of the investigation and charges. In that time, he compiled a record of 12-9-3 with 1 shutout, a 2.80 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.

As Hockey News Hub pointed out, he's not the only member of that world junior team to sign overseas as former Calgary Flames forward Dillion Dube signed a contract yesterday.

We'll see how this plays out as next season approaches and into next season.
