Connor Bedard eats a big hit from Tyler Tucker
Some lessons in life are tougher than others to learn than others and for some people that lesson needs to be taught more than once. That appears to be the case for NHL rookie sensation Connor Bedard, who for the second time this season found himself on the receiving end of a big hit.
Last night the Chicago Blackhawks faced off against the St. Louis Blues as the two teams look to play out their schedule. While the end results of the game didn't have an impact on the final season rankings, that didn't stop players from playing hard. As Bedard enters the zone he bobbles the puck and follows it towards the half wall.As Bedard tries to retrieve it he was on the receiving end of a huge hit from Tyler Tucker.

While the hit was deemed clean, it's always assumed that any hit on Bedard will receive a response, especially given his current vulnerable state. Heading into next season as the bubble comes off, it becomes more and more important that Bedard starts to be more aware of his in ice presence or he's going to find himself missing more and more games.
