Other reports have stated that Nylander is currently battling a back injury. Now. Another more convincing report has surfaced from Nick Alberga who has revealed Nylander has been battling a concussion.

As I mentioned on Leafs Morning Take a few moments ago, it is believed that William Nylander is dealing with a head injury.

Unlike previous reports a head, injury truly makes a lot more sense. Nylander was kept off the ice for the mandatory 48 hours and has slowly increased his workload since. It appears the Maple Leafs are slowly working. The Superstar back into action according to the NHL's concussion protocol.

Reports have indicated that if Nylander continues the rest of the day symptom free, he could play as early as tonight. A more likely timeline however could be the Leafs next game on Saturday.
