We've seen a few different offer sheets this season, most notably when the St. Louis Blues offer sheeted a pair of Edmonton Oilers who didn't match. With that being said, it appears that another offer sheet might be around the corner for a very talented young forward. Edmonton Oilers announce their decisions on Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway offer sheets
According to Hockey Insider who has quite the following on X/Twitter and has broken some moves before it appears at the Buffalo savers are heavily interested in Detroit Red Wings forward Lucas Raymond.

Raymond, 22, played in all 82 games for the Detroit Red Wings last season collecting in total of 72 points including 31 goals and 41 assists. Unlike the Edmonton Oilers players that went to the St. Louis Blues Raymond is a part of the Red Wings future and already as significant point producer in the NHL
I highly doubt that if the Buffalo Sabres actually submitted an offer sheet for Lucas Raymond that the Detroit Red Wings wouldn't match. Whatever the cost is, they would figure it out.
We'll see what happens, but this could make for an interesting last few weeks of the off-season. Should an offer sheet come to fruition.
