It seemed like things were finally coming together for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team was firing on all cylinders and their depth on forward seemed to be their true strength. The team finally had three lines that could score and a defensively responsible fourth line.

Now that seems to be in doubt as the Maple Leafs have made the announcement that they will be without forwards. Bobby McMann and Max Domi for at least the final two games of the regular season. The Maple Leafs have games remaining against the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers where neither player appears to be available.

The team made the announcement today:

Sheldon Keefe says Bobby McMann will miss the final two games of the regular season.

Max Domi will miss tomorrow's game and likely Wednesday's game too.

The Leafs were forced to run some modified lines at today's practice as they look to play out the final games of the schedule.

Leafs lines at practice Apr. 15/24

Bertuzzi-Matthews-Marner
Knies-Tavares-Nylander
Robertson-Holmberg-Gregor
Dewar-Kampf-Reaves
Absent: Domi, McMann (lower-body)

Rielly-Lyubushkin
Benoit-McCabe
Edmundson-Liljegren
Extra, Giordano, Timmins, Brodie

It will be interesting to see how the Leafs fair this year with their depth already being tested.
