Matt Duchene Stands Up For Paul Bissonnette After Hilarious Shot From Brad Marchand
Paul Bissonnette has been at the center of a wild story in the NHL, and now Stars veteran Matt Duchene has applauded him after a hilarious shot from Brad Marchand earlier in the night on the NHL on TNT.
This past week has been a wild one for Paul Bissonnette, who was involved in a massive brawl at an Arizona bar, leading to one of the wildest stories we've ever seen involving a former NHL player.
It's been talked about on his Spittin' Chiclets podcast and many other NHL media outlets, and now, it's been taken to the TV as well, with Bruins captain Brad Marchand happy to take a hilarious shot at Biz during the latest edition of the NHL on TNT.
Later in the night, the crew were interviewing Stars veteran Matt Duchene, who took a little different approach to talking about the situation with Bissonnette, praising him for stepping into a situation that clearly needed it, involving some fairly disgusting people.
The Marchand comment would then come up in hilarious fashion, with Duchene revealing that he had seen the comments before his game while joking around with Biz about the accidental good cop, bad cop routine the two had played.
Ultimately, we hope that Bissonnette gets the justice he deserves for his encounter with a disgusting group of criminals, but given the reputation he's built up, it's great to see that players are able to joke with him about the situation.
