A band stopped their show in Philadelphia to deliver a heartfelt tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.

As the hockey world and continues to mourn the tragic passing of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.Johnny Gaudreau passes away in tragic accident at 31-years-old more and more tributes keep pouring in. Near and far, the support for the Gaudreau family has been overwhelming.

Last night, during a show in Philadelphia, the band Pearl Jam stopped the show to deliver a heartfelt tribute to the Gaudreau brothers and offer support to their family as well.

Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder felt it necessary to honour the brother while in Philadelphia as well as relate to the Gaudreau family as a whole. Relating the Gaudreau brothers tragedy to similar ones that have happened to him and his band mates in recent years.

He continued by saying they were by all accounts good people who were taken far too soon.

This just proves that this tragedy has been felt far and wide, by fellow players and fans and musical acts alike.

Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder didn't need to stop the show to deliver such a touching tribute, but they did. Proving how much this has struck a chord with people.
