When the Edmonton Oilers signed goaltender Jack Campbell to a 5 year 5 million dollar AAV contract, almost everyone knew right away that it was going to end up being a horrible deal.

Fast forward a little bit and of course Campbell isn't even in the National Hockey League anymore, but it appears the Oilers may have found a team desperate enough to take on his disastrous contract according to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta; take a look.

Pagnotta makes the assertion that the Oilers really like Philadelphia Flyers defender Sean Walker and want to bring him over while the Flyers would be willing to take on additional salary to make a deal work.

Although I don't see it, it would seem like the Flyers do need a goalie at the present time and Campbell might be ready for another shot in the NHL, given how he's preformed in the minors recently.

Make no mistake about it though, if the Edmonton Oilers and general manger Ken Holland can get out from under the Campbell contract, it'll be nothing short of a miracle and a masterclass by the Oilers brass
