Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi releases hype video for playoffs
The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins are set to do battle in the 1st round of the playoffs and it seems the fans aren't the only ones that are excited about dropping the puck for game 1 tonight. Especially from a second generation Leaf player who has endeared himself to the fan base with his play style and work ethic.
On his instagram, Domi posted a Maple Leafs hype video to get the fanbase excited for their first round series, which starts tonight with puck drop set for 8PM Eastern; take a look.
If you're a Leafs fan it must be pretty exciting to see one of the players that plays for your favourite team lean into the fandom by making his own playoff hype video to get in the playoff mood.
Domi, 29, had a rather slow start to the season, but did pick it up down the stretch. In 80 games played for the Leafs this season, he scored a total of 47 points including 9 goals and 38 assists.
It's no secret that general manager Brad Treliving brought Domi along with Bertuzzi in for what they've proven they can offer in the playoffs, having Domi be this excited for playoff hockey in Toronto is a great sign.
