In a post on social media, an account by the name 'Hockey Jerseyz' shared an image of Utah's logo for the 2024-25 season that also features the colours they will wear for their inaugural year.
The logo is a sky blue circle, with a thinner black or navy blue circle inside. It also has 'UTAH' on the inside of the circle, also in black or navy blue, with the word 'HOCKEY' above and 'CLUB' below, both in white text.
@HKYJersey said that the logo is being used and has been added to the National Hockey League's API.
As a reminder, Utah will only be using their state name and 'Hockey Club' in their branding for their first season in the NHL. It takes quite a while to develop branding and logos for a professional sports team and even longer to get something an organization likes, so we won't have a team name or logos/colours for Utah's franchise until the 2025-26 season.
Earlier this week, Utah owner Ryan Smith announced that they are down to four team names including Yeti and Mammoth. It's unclear when the organization will officially announce their decision, but it likely won't be until later this year.
Utah is set to begin play in October at Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The team expects to be pretty active and aggressive this summer in free agency and on the trade market so they can be competitive out of the gate.
