George Parros accused of a conflict of interest by Toronto Maple Leafs fans over new brand new t-shirt
George Parros has a reputation around the NHL for not being the best at his job. As the head of the NHL's Department of Player Safety, Parros has developed a reputation for inconsistencies and according to some fans 'bias'. Unfortunately for some NHL fans being bad at your job isn't a crime.
Before taking the role as Head of Player Safety, Parros worked with the Violent Gentlemen clothing line. Today the Boston Bruins showed off a new t-shirt provided to their roster produced by the clothing line.
Naturally, rather than relying on facts fans of a certain fan base *cough* Toronto *cough* immediately began to spin a conspiracy theory.
It's clear fans feel there is a major issue here. The conflict of interest could cause significant issues. There is only one problem...George Parros left the Violent Gentlemen brand in 2017.
With the playoffs in full swing you'd think fans would have better things to do but instead it's conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory.
