Matthew Tkachuk given a misconduct after absolutely destroying Jack Eichel with a huge hit
With the Florida Panthers trailing this important Game 2, by a score of 4-0, Matthew Tkachuk took it upon himself to try and change the course of the series. As Jack Eichel tries to carry the puck out of his own zone he is caught with his head down.
At the last second Eichel appears to catch a glimpse of Tkachuk, but he can't do anything to avoid the contact.
After the hit a scrum broke out and on the play Tkachuk was awarded 2 minutes for roughing and a 10 minute misconduct. Eichel immediately headed down the tunnel after the hit.
