With multiple free agents still on the market and some RFAs unsigned, teams are looking at ways to create cap space. This will also allow teams to potentially use the waiver wire to improve their club, should the opportunity arise.

With so many teams sitting at or near the salary cap ceiling the next few weeks could create some real excitement among fans.
