We are just two days removed from game seven of the Stanley Cup final and it seems 30 other NHL teams aren't wasting any time completing trades.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks are working on a late night trade that would send Ilya Mikheyev, the rights to Sam Lafferty, and the second round pick the Blackhawks with the rest of the trade as follows
However, there appears to be a hold up, as Ilya Mikheyev has not waived his no trade clause to go to Chicago and the Blackhawks are on his no trade list according to Rick Dhaliwal of The Athletic Vancouver.
Should the deal go through, the return to Vancouver is a 4th round pick as per Frank Seravalli.
Update: Vancouver is also sending a 2nd round pick to Chicago as part of this deal.
Update 2: as I mentioned above, even though the details of this trade are known, it has not gone through yet. In fact, according to Chris Johnston, another team is in the mix and Mikheyev might be able to choose where he goes
