Trevor Zegras scores second 'Michigan' of Saturday night
After missing the previous 20 games with a lower-body injury, Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras made his return on Saturday night as they took on the Seattle Kraken.
With six minutes remaining in the middle frame, Trevor Zegras took matters into his own hands with the Anaheim Ducks down by two goals.
Zegras skated down the wall and around the Kraken net where he put the puck on his stick and pulled off 'The Michigan' over the shoulder of Joey Daccord, cutting Seattle's lead to just one.
Trevor Zegras wasn't the only player in the National Hockey League to pull off 'The Michigan' during Saturday night's slate of games, which were the final games before the holiday break.
During Chicago's game against the St. Louis Blues, 2023 first-overall pick Connor Bedard scored in the same fashion, helping the Blackhawks defeat their Central Division rivals.
